Before scoring this choice gig, Craig taught music, played music, sold music, rented music, listened to music, and studied music. Now he spends his days immersed in music, at the same time carving a path for the School of Rock Philadephia to continue to be a phenomenal success.

Dante Cimino Music Director
DANTE IS A DRUM GOD!!!!!! He has been playing drums for 32 years. Has toured the world with owner Mike Morpurgo and their band Dandelion and has toured and played with bands like, Radiohead,Rob Zombie, Gwar,The Ramones,Alanis Morrisette, Goo Goo Dolls,Red Kross and countless others. He has written and performed songs that have been featured in the movie Brainscan and popular shows like, Mtv's The Real World and Beavis and Butthead.He has also recorded an album with Rudy & Blitz with his good friend Chad Ginsburg from the band CKY. Dante's approach to his music direction and as a drum teacher is brutal truth. "You're child is not going get better by me blowing smoke up their butt" With this approach he has produced some of the greatest drummer's School of Rock has seen and also some of the greatest shows. His approach to teaching drums is simple "use your ears" thats how he learned and thats how he teaches. He loves his job and the kids. Anybody having any interaction with Dante will have always came away learning something, and is always there to offer a good laugh.

Yanni Papadopoulos Assistant Music Director/Guitar Instructor
It is with great excitement that we announce the return of Philly SoR LEGEND Yanni Papadopoulos! Yanni first got involved with SoR back in 2003 under Paul Green and quickly became a favorite among students for his dynamic guitar lessons and fantasticly directed shows. Yanni graduated St. John's College with a BA in Classic Literature before embarking on his unique music odyssey. He has composed, performed, produced, and toured with his legendary Philly-based genre-bending band Stinking Lizaveda for the last 20 years in the US and Europe. Along with also playing hip-hop, spacerock, and jazz, he has also accompanied modern dance companies and belly dancers. Yanni is very happy to be back in the SoR mix!

Lamont Caldwell Vocals/Drums/Guitar Instructor
Multi-instrumentalist Lamont Caldwell is a star on the watch having toured with some of today’s most recognized artists such as The Roots, Dave Mathews Band, Kirk Franklin, and Jay-Z. His vocals and songwriting as demonstrated in his dynamic rock band MACH22 has gotten the attention and respect of may including world renowned DJ and Producer King Britt, Ahmir “?uestlove” Thompson of The Roots and many others in the music industry.
Lamont Caldwell started his music training in the city of Camden, NJ at the age of 6 when he finally decided on the saxophone as the instrument to begin to musically express himself. Lamont played in the band programs adding guitar, bass and drums in high school at Camden High when he got the opportunity to go to London, England and perform with the Marching band and the Jazz band. Graduating and continuing his study of music, he entered the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
After 2 years he got the calling to go to New York City to splash the Jazz Scene and studied at Manhattan School of Music and City College of New York. In 2001, through some musical peers, he got the call to join the band of soul singer Bilal Oliver.
Continuing to learn while being in the band, Lamont started to sing more as he added backing vocals to his role as saxophonist in the band's horn section. Touring with the likes of Erykah Badu, Common, Kirk Franklin, Dave Matthews Band, the Roots (where he has gained more musical knowledge adding guitar, vocals and keyboards to his stage show) and most currently Jay-Z it added to his arsenal.
His band MACH22 is where as front man he gets to spread his wings as a vocalist and stage performer . This rock band with the sound coined as "Zeppelin meets Kravitz"catches many off guard and has gotten the attention of bands like Steel Panther as an opening band and the Legendary "Slash" of Gun n Roses and Velvet Revolver fame. There is always more of the unexpected to expect from Lamont Caldwell.

Scott Ziegler Bass Instructor
Scott is a recent graduate of University of the Arts with a degree in Music Performance. He has played upright and electric bass for over 10 years. Scott teaches all styles of rock bass playing, from simple grooves to lead playing. Currently, he lays down the funk in Ill Doots and various solo projects. His family owns a celeste.

Vinchelle woods is a former student of the The University of the Arts. Vinchelle is an Artist. Here in Philadelphia she has had the privilege of working with many local bands and other well known artist such as: Bilal, Jazmine Sullivan, Jaguar Wright, Eric Roberson and others. Some of the local bands she is involved with are: SunShowers (Eclectic soul, Electronic Alternative Folk), Toy Soldiers (Folk, blues, Rock), Kelly and the Ruths (Folk, Indie), Josiah Wise and His Band (Experimental RnB, Soul), Virtual Virgin (Elaborate Pop,Circus Rock), Tongue Sculptors (Dirty hipster rock),Aphrophonix Crew (Afro-beat), The Jawns Band (Funk,Soul) and many others.

Mitch Hood Guitar Instructor
Mitch Hood is a natural born rock n roller. He has been playing guitar since age 12, and has been touring the country since he was 19 opening for bands like Live, Superdrag, Jimmy's Chicken Shack, and The Click Five. He has written many songs that have been featured in a number of films, and used for TV commercials. In addition, Mitch also owns his own project studio in Philadelphia where he records and produces numerous artist in the Northeast region.

Michael Kordish Keyboard Instructor
Since the age of 4, Michael Kordish has been composing and performing at the piano. His prolific performing career has included a wide array of genres and styles including classical, jazz, hip-hop, RnB, trance, fusion, Eastern/Indian,rock, progressive, avant garde and free-form. In addition to performing solo, Michael has performing with (or as a member of) The People, Digable Planets, Planet 22, Satchmo Filter, Saigon Slimm, I Yahn I Arkestra, and Sfogato.

Mike Mosley Drum Instructor
Mike grew up listening to equal amounts classical and jazz, and Beatles and Motown, receiving his first drumset at the age of 4. A well-rounded percussionist in high school, Mike first became part of the Philly rock scene in the mid 80s (She-Males). After spending his time playing in top bands and cutting records for Rough House Records in the early 90s, Mike toured Europe and Canada with the likes of Carnival of Shame, Schooly D, and Ben Arnold. A passionate educator with a love for the drums, Mike aims to share his skills and lessons in the music biz with his School of Rock students.

Sebastian LaBar Guitar Instructor
Sebastian was literally born into Rock N' Roll! He is the Son of Jeff LaBar, Guitar player of Cinderella. He started playing guitar at age 8 and, up until he joined School of Rock, was entirely trained by his father. At age 16, he joined the School of Rock and worked with several professionally trained guitar instructors including Alan Von Ens, Yanni Popapadopolis, and Dominic Angelella. After a year and a half of attending the School of Rock, he auditioned for and was accepted to the All Star program. With the All Starts he toured the East Coast of the US - making countless friends and music connections. He was very honored to be chosen as a School of Rock All Star, as only the top 2% of School of Rock students in the country are selected. Now that Sebastian has graduated, he is working with his band, Downfly, On writing their first CD and loving teaching at his alma matter School of Rock!

Alan Ens Guitar Instructor
Alan Ens is a Philadelphia based musician. He studied Jazz guitar at the University of the Arts and graduated in 09. He records a lot, and runs his own rock band called the Tongue Sculptors (http://soundcloud.com/tonguesculptors ) , and plays whatever else people want him to play. He is a flexable teacher that aims at pushing students while dealing with music that they are interested in.

Ty Asoudegan Guitar Instructor
MACH22 lead guitarist Ty Asoudegan, who studied at Berklee College of Music, is a visually exciting and powerful guitarist/songwriter. He has worked and done clinics with the likes of guitarist Metal Mike (Halford/Sebastian Bach), Joe Stump, Dean Ween, Jason McMaster (Dangerous Toys/Broken Teeth) just to name a few and has also toured with West Virginian based county/southern rock outfit the Davisson Brothers Band. His work with MACH22 has even grabbed the attention of Rock icon Slash (Guns N' Roses/Velvet Revolver) when the band opened for the guitar legend in Atlantic City.

Ricardo Lagomasino Drum Instructor
Philadelphia-based drummer, Ricardo Lagomasino, has been playing music for most of his life. He has toured US, Canada, Europe and the UK with a number of groups and has appears on 11 released recordings. He is currently playing with Many Arms, The Sea Around Us, Joe Lally, Extreme Fishkin, Lagomasino/Fishkin and Tongue Sculptors. In the past he has played with Capillary Action, Hulk Smash, Lee Jaewon, SHREDfest, Circles, George Korein, Verity In Stereo, Pads & Steel and DCIC. He holds a Bachelors degree from Oberlin Conservatory in Oberlin, OH.

My name is Andre' Webb. I am from Baltimore, MD. I graduated from UArts in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Jazz Performance. Since graduation I have been teaching music throughout Philadelphia and New York. I am a member of multiple bands that perform throughout the tri-state area. Shout out to Josiah Wise Godbodi, Jeanette Berry and the Soul Nerds, and the 20somethings.

Shaun Quigley Guitar Instructor
Shaun has been playing guitar since the age of 9, and teaching for 5 years. He favors an approach with an emphasis on learning from listening, via improvisation and by exposing students to a diverse range of players in rock, jazz, blues, and other areas between and beyond. Shaun gives students a comprehensive knowledge of music theory and playing techniques to get them equipped for their shows and for anything that may come their way outside of our school. Shaun has been playing with performing rock bands and jazz ensembles and doing session work for local talent since high school and currently performs in the Philadelphia area in a free-improv duo.
